The talented full-back has fallen down the pecking order under manager David Moyes this season, with the likes of Patrice Evra and Alexander Buttner favoured ahead of him for his prefered left-back role.



A report from The Mirror claims that the Bluesbirds are keen on signing on the Brazilian international on a short-term deal for the rest of the season.



Fabio's agent Cassiano Pereira has claimed that his client is very likely to leave the Red Devils on a permanent transfer next summer.



Fabio has made a solitary league appearance for United this season.
