Arsenal are reportedly pondering over a move for Lyon midfield star Yoann Gourcuff in case their pursuit of Julian Draxler fails in the current transfer window.
The Gunners have been strongly linked with a move for Draxler since the start of the winter, with manager Arsene Wenger keen on strengthening the club's attacking department.
However, The Daily Mail reports that the North London outfit are unlikely to acquire the German international's signature this month and this may tempt them into making a transfer offer for Gourcuff before the transfer deadline day, with Lyon keen on selling off some of their star players due to their financial crisis.
Gourcuff has notched up 6 goals in 19 games for Lyon this season.
