Arsenals are readying a bid of £25million for Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos. The 24 year old has been previously linked with both Manchester United and Manchester City.
The German international is out of contract in 2015 and has so far has been unable to agree new terms. Reports suggest that he is asking for a hike from £60k to £150k which the club are not willing to pay.
Arsenal may lose out on their January target Julian Draxler who looks Bayern bound come the summer and could turn to Kroos. With Thomas Rosicky out of contract in the summer and question marks over Mikel Arteta a move will provide a much needed boost to the Gunners squad.
Should the move go through Kroos will join fellow Germans Mesut Ozil, Per Mertesacker, Lukas Podolski and Serge Gnabry at the Emirates Stadium
