Sunderland's in-form player Adam Johnson is apparently considered as a top transfer target for Liverpool in the summer.
The England international has been in sensational form for the Black Cats since the start of the year, and has netted 6 goals and provided two assists in his last four Premier League appearances for the Wearside outfit.
Johnson, who is believed to be playing himself into the mind of national team manager Roy Hodgson for the World Cup finals in Brazil later this year, could be the subject of a swap deal to the Reds in the summer, with on-loan striker Fabio Borini moving the other way, according to The Express.
Adam Johnson joined Sunderland from Manchester City for a fee of £10m in the summer of 2012.
