Juventus in for Man Utd star?

Juventus are reportedly eyeing a summer switch for Manchester star striker Robin Van Persie, according to a report.

  • The Daily Express claims that the Italian giants are ready to offer the Dutchman a fresh challenge in the Serie A, following speculation revealing that he is unhappy with his life at Old Trafford under manager David Moyes.

However, the report also suggests that the Serie A champions would face stiff competition from the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and AS Monaco who have been tracking the player's transfer situation over the past month.

Juventus have been in great form in the league so far but the failure to progress in the Champions League this campaign could be one of the major reasons for the club's ambitious attempt to land the 30-year-old's signature during the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils boss David Moyes is open to the sale of Van Persie and could be available for a fee of around £18m in the summer.
