Arsenal star Jack Wilshere is set to be sidelined for atleast six weeks having suffered from a hairline fracture to the navicular bone in his left foot during last night's international friendly against Denmark.
The talented defender suffered the injury while playing for England as Liverpool defender Daniel Agger made a late challenge and was replaced in the 59th minute by Adam Lallana.
The Gunners' official website have now confirmed that 22-year-old would be out for the next six weeks as he will go through the rehabilitation progress before a return to first-team football.
Manager Arsene Wenger will now be hoping to have the services of Aaron Ramsey and on-loan signing Kim Kallstrom available at the earliest, as the club go through a tough round of fixtures in March, including crucial cup ties against Everton and Bayern Munich looming in the space of three days.
