  • Robert Acquafresca headed in the opener just after four minutes.

Kaka had a golden chance of scoring the equalizer but his penalty was saved by keeper Marco Fortin just a minute before the break.

The Rossoneri could finally breathe when Alberto Gilardino, who is back to scoring days, brought the score level in the 61st minute.

Mastro Andrea Pirlo had the last word as he curled in a well-placed free kick in the 86th minute to grab the full points of the game.

AC Milan, who registered their fourth win of the season, are now 9th of the Serie A table with 17 points.
