Premier League giants Liverpool and Manchester United are tracking the transfer situation of Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng.
The 25-year-old who spent a season with Manchester City in the English top tier, is said to have attracted interest from both clubs, following reports that he is interested in a fresh challenge away from the Bundesliga.
According to German newspaper Bild, the Reds manager Brendan Rodgers has placed the German international on top of his summer transfer shortlist, while David Moyes also considers the defender as a possible option to go for in a predicted spree at the end of the season.
