Aston Villa to sign Joe Cole

Aston Villa are set to make Joe Cole their second major signing of the summer. The former Liverpool and West Ham midfielder will pen a two year contract at Villa Park.

There remains uncertainty at Aston Villa regarding the club's ownership and management, but that hasn't stopped the Villans from swooping for the former England international.

The 32-year-old will be delighted to have secured a deal that will keep him in the Premier League for the coming season.
