Atletico Madrid are reportedly tracking the situation of Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal, with a view to a summer move for his services.

The talented left-back joined the Gunners from La Liga outfit Malaga in January 2013, but failed to cement his place in starting line-up last season, as he played second fiddle to Kieran Gibbs.

According to The Mail, the La Liga champions will make a move for the Spanish international, with star defender Filipe Luis likely to join Chelsea during the summer transfer window.

Monreal made 36 appearances for the Gunners in all competitions last season.
