Sami Khedira has emerged as a shock target for Manchester United. The German international has been monitored by Louis Van Gaal's side for over six months.
According to reports from Germany, United are desperate to sign a holding midfielder prior to the beginning of the new season and have taken their scouts to Brazil to watch Khedira in action. The German international is available for around 20 million euros and Real Madrid are reportedly ready to sell so that they can sign a new midfielder ahead of the upcoming season.
