Chelsea have reportedly expressed their desire to sign Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang during the summer transfer window.

The Gabon international joined BVB from Saint-Etienne last summer, and set the league alight as he scored a hattrick in his first competitive match for the Bundesliga giants.However, hee failed to replicate the form, and finished the season with a tally of 16 goals in for the German club.

According to France Football, the Blues have made contact with the 25-year-old over the transfer and will discuss a transfer fee with Dortmund in the next few days.

It is understood that the Bundesliga runners-up will only sell the striker, if they find a suitable replacement.
