Ronald Koeman is set to make the biggest signing yet since his arrival at Southampton, as a deal to sign Italian forward Graziano Pelle from Feyenoord appears to have been agreed.
The 6 foot 4 striker, who has played in Holland for both AZ Alkmaar and Feyenoord, will fly in to England for talks today and will sign a three year contract at St Mary's. The 28-year-old scored an impressive 23 goals in 28 games for Feyenoord last season and in the season prior to that he scored 27 goals in 29 appearances.
Southampton will pay a reported 7.1 million Euros to secure the Italian's signature and have beaten the likes of Lazio and French side Lille in the race for an agreement.
