Man Utd pull the plug on Arturo Vidal deal

Man Utd end Vidal pursuit

Man Utd pull the plug on Arturo Vidal deal

14 July 2014 - 23:55

Manchester United are reportedly not interested in signing Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal this summer, The Mail reports.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • The talented midfielder who featured for the Chilean national side during the World Cup finals in Brazil, had been the subject of transfer speculation in recent weeks, with reports claiming that the Red Devils had agreed on a deal worth £32m to sign the player.

However, this seems to be untrue, and The Mail claims that United boss Louis van Gaal has decided to end the 27-year-old's pursuit, as he does not fit into the club's tactical setup.

It is also known that the player's agent Fernando Felicevich was in England, in order to finalize a deal with Arsenal for his other client Alexis Sanchez.
