Southampton have tabled a fresh bid for goalkeeper Fraser Forster. The England international is currently playing in Scotland for current champions Celtic, but is ready to return to the Premier League.

The talented shot stopper, who previously has had spells playing for Newcastle, is amongst a batch of players who are considering a move to England this summer.

Forster is wanted by Southampton's new manager Ronald Koeman as a long term replacement for current first choice keeper Artur Boruc.

According to reports from Scotland, the Saints will pay 5 million GBP to wrap up a deal for Forster.
