Leroy Fer is a target for Southampton this summer, as manager Ronald Koeman prepares to rebuild his squad after a transfer window of several high profile departures. The 24-year-old Dutchman has asked Norwich City for a transfer.
As exclusively reported by eyefootball.com back in June, the Saints have made Leroy Fer one of their major transfer targets in this summer transfer window.
Fer had initially struggled in his first season in Premier League football but an eye catching display during the World Cup tournament appears to have reminded several top sides of Fer's quality.
Southampton are planning talks with Norwich City this afternoon.
