Jenkinson - heading to Hull City on loan deal

Arsenal defender Jenkinson to join Hull City on loan?

28 July 2014 - 11:27

Arsenal full back Carl Jenkinson has been given permission to speak with Hull City and manager Steve Bruce after the Gunners accepted a loan offer from the Tigers this morning.

  • Nottingham Forest agree deal to sign Chelsea target
  • Chelsea now want to sign West Ham star after Joao Pedro

  • The 22-year-old has been told he is free to leave the Emirates on a loan deal as the Gunners look set to secure a move for Southampton defender Calum Chambers. Jenkinson, who only recently signed a new deal at Arsenal, is ready to leave North London in search of regular first team action.

Several websites have reported that Jenkinson will complete a permanent deal to Hull City, however we can reveal that the deal that will see Jenkinson move to the Tigers is a season long loan and at the end of the season the two clubs will be able to discuss a permanent move for the right back.

Arsene Wenger still sees Jenkinson as a valuable member of his first team squad.
