Burnley have limited funds to spend in preparation for the new season and have already had two bids for the WBA defender rejected. Dawson had a transfer request rejected by his club last month and is set to travel to Burnley next week to meet with Sean Dyche.

Dyche's team are confident that a deal will be wrapped up before the end of next week.
