Burnley make bid for WBA's Craig Dawson

West Bromwich Albion defender Craig Dawson has been linked with a £2 million transfer to Burnley. The newly promoted Premier League side is desperate to make a move away from Albion.

Burnley have limited funds to spend in preparation for the new season and have already had two bids for the WBA defender rejected. Dawson had a transfer request rejected by his club last month and is set to travel to Burnley next week to meet with Sean Dyche.

Dyche's team are confident that a deal will be wrapped up before the end of next week.
