Chelsea are reportedly set to buy yet another player from Spanish champions Atletico Madrid by making a move to sign Joao Miranda.
Jose Mourinho has already captured Diego Costa and Filipe Luis from the La Liga side, and is keen to finalise a £20m move for the Brazilian defender.
Chelsea have made numerous attempts to sign the towering centre-half this summer, but are set to return once again as a replacement for David Luiz, who departed Stamford Bridge for Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain in a £50 million deal.
But Atletico Madrid could be reluctant to sell another one of their stars to Chelsea considering the losses they have already suffered in the transfer market.
After losing their stars Costa and Luis to the Blues, they have been dealt the blow of losing Thibaut Courtois, who will stay with Chelsea after three years on loan at the club.
Atletico are desperate to keep as many of the players that helped them to successfully claim the league title next season and may reject any offer Chelsea make.
