Tottenham target Danny Welbeck has been told he is free to leave Old Trafford. The forward has decided to call time on his Man Utd career and move elsewhere for regular first team football.

Constantly linked with a transfer out of United, the England international is some what of a prized asset around England and seemingly is heading for a new club in the next couple of weeks. Since the arrival of Robin van Persie at United, Welbeck has often found first team chances limited. Despite that, it appears the striker was originally willing to stay put at United, however, now Louis van Gaal has told the player he is free to leave for a new opportunity and the player and his agent are frantically looking for a new club for the player.
