AC Milan have spoken to Jose Mourinho regarding a potential loan transfer for Fernando Torres. The Blues have signed Diego Costa this summer and Torres has slipped down the pecking order.
Since Liveprool have snapped up Mario Balotelli from AC Milan, the Rossoneri are currently one striker short ahead of the beginning of their Serie A campaign. It is understood that Spanish striker Torres is on their list of potential replacements for the Italian.
Chelsea have signed both Diego Costa and club legend Didier Drogba, leaving Torres the current third choice forward for Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese manager had told Torres that he is still in his first team plans for the 2014/15 campaign.
