Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca is a surprise target for Arsene Wenger's Arsenal. The 27-year-old Colombian could join the Gunners on loan until January as cover for the injured Olivier Giroud.

Bacca has been with Sevilla since 2013, when the Colombian international made a transfer from Belgian side Club Brugge. Since then he has gone on to impress in La Liga, bagging 22 goals in 52 games.

The Gunners seem to be misfiring in front of goal since the loss of Giroud, as yesterday Arsenal could only manage a 1-1 draw away at Leicester City.

Bacca has been told he is free to leave the club if a team offers 500,000 euros for a temporary deal.
