Delighted to be at Manchester United: Falcao

11 September 2014 - 18:40

Manchester United’s new signing Radamel Falcao has said that he is looking forward to the new challenge admitting that playing for the Red Devils is like a dream come true.

  • Arsenal handed injury boost on defender ahead of Bournemouth clash
  • Chelsea planning shock move for Man City winger?

  • The Colombian international joined manager Louis van Gaal’s side from Ligue 1 club Monaco for £6 million on a deadline day year-long loan deal as the English outfit’s dismal start to the new season forced the Dutchman to reinforce his attack.

The Old Trafford team have managed just two points on three outings so far, losing their first game 2-1 against Swansea City and tying the other two against Sunderland and Burnley.

But Falcao hopes he will be able to help the club see better days and expressed his delight at playing for a ‘club like Manchester’.

“I'm glad to be here”, the 28-year-old told Sky Sports News.

“It's a big challenge for me and for my career. I always dreamed to be in a club like Manchester United”, he added.

Falcao will be hoping to make his debut for the side when they host Queen Park Rangers in their Premier League fixture on Sunday.
