Real Madrid weigh up move for Raheem Sterling

According to reports, Real Madrid are to make a bid for emerging talent Raheem Sterling in the upcoming January transfer window. The highly rated England international is wanted by Carlo Ancelotti.

  • It is understood that Real Madrid have deployed scouts several times to keep a close eye on the winger in action. The Liverpool star has found his work cut out since the Anfield side lost Daniel Sturridge through injury and his team have lost 3 out of their first 5 league games so far this season.

    It is understood that Ancelotti is very impressed with the performances of 19-year-old Sterling and is ready to bid as much as 35 million euros to persuade Liverpool to sell their starlet.

    They are also prepared to quadruple the player's salary to approximately 175,000 euros per week.
