Manchester United are set to renew their pursuit for Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal when the transfer window reopens in January, The Mail reports.
The Red Devils had been associated with a move for the Chilean international all summer, but a deal never materialized.
However, a report from The Mail now claims that United boss Louis van Gaal will offer Spain midfielder Juan Mata as makeweight in the deal for Vidal in the winter transfer window.
Mata has failed to cement his place in the first-team at United on a regular basis, and is apparently open to a switch away from Old Trafford.
