Liverpool could offer a contract extension to club-captain Steven Gerrard, The Telegraph reports.
The former England international is currently in his last year of his contract, and there have been talks over his potential exit from the Reds at the end of the campaign.
However, The Telegraph claims that the club's hierarchy will offer a new deal to the Legendary midfielder in the coming weeks.
In addition to this, Gerrard may have to accept a reduced role at the Merseysiders beyond the current season.
Gerrard has scored 178 goals in 678 games for Liverpool since making his debut in 1998.
