Wolfsburg are believed to have agreed a massive 40 million euro package for Germany's World Cup winning winger Andre Schurrle. Chelsea are to bring in Juan Cuadrado as a replacement for the former Bayer Leverkusen man.
Schurrle has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge in recent months and Jose Mourinho is rumoured to have told the German that he would be allowed to leave Chelsea just last week.
Wolfsburg's chief executive Klaus Aloffs has been in talks with the Blues since then and has been ironing out the final details on a massive deal that is sure to be today's most expensive transfer.
Schurrle will earn a reported 150,000 euros per week at Wolfsburg and Chelsea will double the return on their initial investment. The winger is reportedly already in Germany awaiting confirmation of the deal and will undergo a medical within the next couple of hours.
