Colombian international Radamel Falcao has accepted that he is unlikely to earn a permanent deal at Manchester United at the end of the season.
The 29-year-old joined the Red Devils on a season-long loan from Monaco last summer, but has since failed to earn a regular spot in the first-team.
Falcao remained on the bench during his side's 2-1 defeat to Arsenal in the FA Cup quarter-final at Old Trafford, and was subsequently dropped to the Under-21s the following evening.
According to The Mail, the former Atleti man was shocked by Van Gaal's decision, and has now realised that he does not have a future at the Mancunian giants.
