Newcastle United have cancelled the transfer of Kieron Dyer to West Ham. The reasons why Newcastle would cancel the transfer are currently unknown, but it is believed that Dyer could be willing to have another go at Newcastle this season.
West Ham already have signed his old teammates Craig Bellamy and Scott Parker this summer, and linking up with Lee Bowyer again was also on the cards. However, for now, Dyer will be staying at Newcastle for the new season.
West Ham manager Alan Curbishley has commented, "It has never happened to me before. We are disappointed and the player is very disappointed, but it's definitely off."
