Man City to sack Manuel Pellegrini?

09 April 2015 - 06:53

Manchester City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak is expected to relieve Manuel Pellegrini from his managerial duties at the end of the season, The Sun reports.

  • Chelsea eyeing move for Adam Wharton
  • Chelsea to make move for Palace defender Maxence Lacroix
  • Pellegrini joined the Citizens last season as a replacement for Roberto Mancini, and helped the club clinch a double by winning the Premier League and the Capital One Cup.

However, the Chilean has failed to replicate the same during the current campaign, and City look likely to end the season trophyless.

According to The Sun, Pellegrini's stay could be limited to this season, with City lining up the likes of Carlo Ancelotti, Diego Simeone and Giuseppe Guardiola as potential replacements.
