Jon Toral signs Arsenal contract extension

Spain midfielder Jon Toral will remain at the Emirates beyond the summer, after Arsenal opted to exercise a one-year option in his existing contract.

The talented youngster joined the Gunners alongside Hector Bellerin three seasons ago, and has since then been plagued with injuries.

Toral has been in good form for Brentford in the Championship on loan this season, and this has helped him earn an additional year at the North London giants.

The 20-year-old has scored six goals in 36 games for the Bees this season.
