The talented centre-back is understood to have had an agreement with the Red Devils over a summer move, but a fee has yet to agreed with Los Che to seal the transfer.

Reports in Spain now reveal that the Argentina international is desperate to make a move to Old Trafford, and will try to force himself out of the La Liga side.

Valencia currently rate Otamendi at £35m.
