Real Madrid have emerged as surprise contenders to sign Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal during the summer transfer window.

The Chile international has been linked with a summer switch to the Premier League, with Liverpool and Arsenal keen on his services.

However, Liverpool have yet to express interest in the midfielder, whilst Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has ruled out a move for the talented midfielder.

Reports in Spain now suggest that Los Blancos will come up with a summer offer to sign up the Chilean international.

It is added that the arrival of Sami Khedira is likely to tempt Juve into Vidal's sale this summer.
