Liverpool look favourites to sign up Burnley striker Danny Ings during the upcoming transfer window.
Recent reports had claimed that Spurs had made an offer of around £12m for Ing, and this would dent the Reds pursuit for the talented marksman.
However, Liverpool Echo cites that the Merseyside giants are set to pay £7m as compensation fee in order to sign up the England Under-21 international.
Burnley had earlier rejected a £4m offer from the Reds.
