Brazilian full-back Dani Alves has signed a new two-year deal at Barcelona, thereby squashing talks of a move away from the club.
The 32-year-old had been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent days, with Manchester United seemingly keen on landing his signature.
It has now been confirmed that the former Sevilla man has been convinced to stay at Camp Nou, and has signed a contract extension until the summer of 2017.
Alves' new contract provides Barca the option to extend his stay by another year.
