Newcastle United have released John Carver from his role as club manager, according to BBC Sport.
Carver took over the managerial reigns at the Magpies in January following Alan Pardew's departure to Crystal Palace.
However, the Tyneside outfit struggled to win games on a regular basis, and earned just 13 points in the Premier League under Carver's guidance.
It has now been revealed that the Magpies have decided to part ways with John Carver and Steve Stone.
Newcastle are expected to release a press statement regarding the dismissal.
