Burnley defender Kieran Trippier will reportedly have a medical with Tottenham Hotspur ahead of a proposed move to North London.

The talented full-back has been linked with a switch to Spurs in recent weeks, with manager Mauricio Pochettino keen on signing a new right-back due to the injury concerns with Kyle Walker over past 18 months.

The Independent now cites that the former Manchester City graduate will undergo a Spurs medical on Wednesday before finalising a  £3.5m move to the club.

Spurs finished fifth in the recently concluded Premier League season.
