Manchester United had a good season under Louis van Gaal as they managed to qualify for the Champions League. The Red Devils have been speculated to be interested in a host of players this summer. Here are five possible targets, United could seek to bring in during the transfer window :
MORGAN SCHNEIDERLIN
Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has been long linked with a move away from the club, with the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur interested in his services. However, recent reports state that the Red Devils are keen on bringing the Frenchman to Old Trafford, and a deal could well be finalized in the upcoming month.

Nicolas Otamendi is another player who has attracted interest from the Red Devils. The talented central defender was in top form for his club Valencia, who managed to attain Champions League football for next season. SERGIO RAMOS
Spain international Sergio Ramos has been a constant in the first-team at Real Madrid in recent seasons. United have always been a selling club to the Bernabeu outfit, and Ramos could be the player to turn things around. The World Cup winner has shown his desire to join the Mancunian giants, but Real look less likely to offload the player unless a stupendous offer is made. Ramos is in talks with the former La Liga champions over a fresh contract.

WILLIAM CARVALHO
Alongside Arsenal, Manchester United have been tracking Sporting Lisbon's William Carvalho in recent years. However, the club are yet to make any kind of offer for the talented youngster, who is considered as one among the top rising midfield talents. It is believed that manager Louis van Gaal could snub the Gunners target, should they manager to land Schneiderlin's signature this summer.

ARTURO VIDAL
The Chilean international has been recently rumoured to have snubbed Manchester United to agree personal terms with Arsenal. However, reports in Italy cite that the talented midfielder will not move to the Premier League, as Juve have already agreed the player's sale to a top European club.
