The talented striker had a dismal spell on loan at Manchester United last season, as he scored just four goals throughout the campaign.

However, Blues boss Jose Mourinho is a huge admirer of Falcao and is confident that he can get the South American star back to his best in the upcoming campaign.

The Blues are understood to have finalized a £7m loan fee with the Principality outfit and the deal could well be announced by the end of the week.
