Manchester United could battle it out with Chelsea for the services of Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, The Mail reports.
The Bosnian international has been tipped to leave the Britannia Stadium for a move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Recent reports have claimed that the Blues are close to signing the former Pompey man for a fee of around £8m.
However, The Mail cites that United boss Louis van Gaal could move for Begovic, should David de Gea depart the Red Devils this summer.
It is added that Begovic could prefer being United's number one rather than playing as an understudy to Thibaut Courtois at Chelsea next season.
