Chelsea make offer to use Wembley Stadium

Chelsea are understood to have contacted the FA regarding the use of Wembley Stadium for their Premier League games. The Blues are desperate to expand their attendances and Stamford Bridge is said to be limited on eligibility for expansion.

  • The Blues have tabled an offer of a reported 10million GBP per season for use of Wembley as per the recommendation of club owner Roman Abramovich. The Premier League champions want to increase their attendances to generate more revenue and help subsidise their plans for a domestic and European success next season.
