Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has insisted that the club are not in the running to sign Barcelona winger Pedro.
It had been earlier claimed that the Blues were favourites to swoop for Pedro this summer, having seen his release clause being reduced from £103m to just £22m.
However, Mourinho has now played down the speculation insisting that he has enough cover in the wider areas for the upcoming campaign.
"I have five wingers, if I lose one maybe I am interested in another but at this moment I have balance and quality and numbers," he told Sky Sports News.
With Chelsea out of the race, Manchester United could have a free run to sign up the Spain international this summer.
