Everton have issued a written response to Chelsea indicating that they will not offload star defender John Stones at any price during the summer transfer window.
The Blues recently had a £20m offer knocked back by the Toffees for the England international.
However, Blues boss Jose Mourinho recently hinted that the club could come up with a fresh offer for the talented centre-back, as he seeks to bring in a long-term replacement for club captain John Terry.
A report from The Telegraph cites that the Toffees had issued a hands-off warning on Stones, way before the Blues had made a formal bid for the player's services.
Stones joined the Merseysiders from Barnsley for £3m in 2013.
