Barcelona defender Marc Bartra is close to sealing a summer move to Italian side Napoli, Sky Italia suggests. The Spain international is expected to seek fresh pastures elsewhere after he rejected a contract extension at the Catalan giants.

According to Sky Italia, both clubs have come to terms with a £10m fee, and it is only remains to see whether the transfer sum would be paid as a whole or if some of the money will be tied to performance based bonuses.

Bartra made just 14 appearances for Barca last term.
