Aston Villa have agreed a transfer sum to sign highly-rated striker Jordan Ayew from Lorient this summer.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game

  • Jordan, who happens to be the younger brother of Swansea City's Andre Ayew, impressed one and all as he scored 12 goals in all competitions for the Ligue 1 outfit last term.

German giants Borussia Dortmund were thought to be interested in the Ghana international, but Sky Sports News cites that it is the Villains who have won the chase to sign the 23-year-old striker.

Villa are also closing in on a season long loan for Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
