Liverpool are reportedly to have knocked back a loan offer from AS Roma for defender Mamadou Sakho.
The France international currently finds himself as back-up to the likes of Dejan Lovren and Martin Skrtel for the central defensive role.
Recent reports had claimed that the Frenchman could be tempted to make way to a club where he could get regular first-team football.
However, The Star claims that the Merseysiders have rebuffed a loan move from Roma, as they consider the 25-year-old to play a part for the club as the season winds on.
Sakho joined the Reds from Paris Saint-Germain in 2013.
