Swansea City striker Batefimbi Gomis has become a shock target for Manchester United, according to reports.
The former France international has been in sensational form for the Swans this season, having scored four goals in as many games for the Welsh outfit.
Following United's 2-1 loss to Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium, manager Louis van Gaal had iterated that the club will not make a panic buy.
However, The Sun claims that the club's hierarchy are exploring a deal for the former Lyon star, who has been one of the stand out performers in the Premier League this season.
Gomis joined the Swans from Lyon in the summer of 2013.
