Swansea City manager Garry Monk has rebuffed rumours linking star midfielder Andre Ayew with a move to Liverpool.
The Ghana international joined the Swans from Marseille on a free transfer over the summer, and has since then been in top form for the Welsh side.
Ayew is known to be a lifelong Liverpool supporter and this has fuelled speculation that new Reds manager Jurgen Klopp could seek to land his services in the winter transfer window.
However, Monk has admitted that he is unperturbed by the transfer gossip at this point of time.
"That's great for him [if he is a Liverpool fan], we all have boyhood dreams, but I do not focus on that. I would be wasting my time if I worried about that. You can see he is committed to Swansea in how he plays and wants to do well for the club. That is all he has to worry about," he told reporters.
Ayew has scored four league goals for the Swans this term.
