Man Utd boss disappointed with Memphis Depay

Depay must improve - Van Gaal

Man Utd boss disappointed with Memphis Depay

21 November 2015 - 07:13

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has admitted that he is not content with what he has seen from summer signing Memphis Depay.

  • Chelsea midfielder looking forward to London derby vs Spurs
  • Arsenal in the front row to sign Dutch striker

  • The Netherlands international was tipped to be 'the next Cristiano Ronaldo' following his £25m switch from PSV Eindhoven in July.

However, the 21-year-old has struggled to showcase his skills in the Premier League game, and has not started since United's 3-0 thumping at Arsenal last month.

Van Gaal has now stated that Memphis would have to improve on his gameplay to reclaim a starting spot.

United have gone well in recent weeks with youngster Jesse Lingard being one among the top performers.
